Three years ago when I started this business I was told I needed one. Back then I was doing everything I could to get this idea I had up and running, the thought of having “a blog” was literally the last thing I could think about. I truly had no idea how this business would go. People told me it was a good idea but I was facing a black hole with zero expectations. It is crazy to think what has happened, some good things some bad things, but also some amazing learning experiences….

So here I am three years later starting a blog about what I do and Omaha Musicians Live, and to be honest, I am truly excited!!!! I hope our readers enjoy seeing everything. I want this to be a place for several things. I want to introduce readers to events, venues, artists, and bands. This will be my way of being able to communicate to our supporters. I am not one to shy away from criticism so if you have ideas and things you would like to see just let me know. Since I have had a lot of fun over the past three years, I may start by sharing about some things we have done in the past but will be sure to include a lot of what we have to look forward to.

I have always noticed how I switch back and fourth between the words I and WE when talking about my business. I understand that this was my idea and I can take credit for that part. But the truth is I am a part of a very big “WE”. Just this last year I worked with over 70 different musicians and bands. The WE is me and them. My promise to all of them is that I will never forget that I am nothing without them and their amazing talents. I am literally nothing without them. So thank you to all of the amazing artists who have shared your talents and passion with me. You have inspired me more than I will ever be able to put into words. I have an amazing job.

Here is to a new journey, this blog. Here we go!!!!!
